How is Skymesh Business different from Skymesh Residential?

Skymesh Business is a separate team within the company that is dedicated to servicing customers running a business. This includes things like priority support and dedicated account management.

What are your support hours?

It depends on the support plan you choose. Our regular plans offer support from 8am to 8pm, and our Premium support plan gives you 24/7 phone support.

How do I get my Starlink installed?

We offer two options for installation of your Starlink equipment: self-install and professional install. Self-install does not cost anything from Skymesh, but we cannot guarantee performance if this option is chosen.

Professional install can be quoted by Skymesh and will use our Nationwide network of trusted partners to perform the install no matter where you are. If required, a cyclone rated mount system will be provided to ensure that even in the worst conditions, your equipment stays safe.

What will happen if I run out of priority data on my plan?

All our plans come with unlimited Standard Data for inland use. Once your priority data is used up, it automatically switches to standard.
If you need more priority data, you can talk to your Skymesh account manager to purchase additional data.
For maritime data, you can also talk to our Business team.

How do I order?

Depending on the complexity of your order, speak to our team and they can help quote the best solution for your needs.

When does the first payment come out?

Your first invoice will be issued for both the Starlink service and your chosen Skymesh Support Package once the service is activated.

If I already have Starlink equipment, can I transfer this to a Skymesh account?

If you already have Starlink hardware, you can switch it over to Skymesh to get support. When you sign up, just give us the serial number of your equipment, and our team will take care of everything else for you.

Are there any limitations or restrictions on who can be a reseller?

All requests to resell Starlink through Skymesh are welcomed. Please reach out and our team for more information.

What is Starlink internet service coverage?

Starlink provides complete coverage for Mainland Australia. If you have a clear view of the sky, Starlink is a great choice for your location.

Can the Starlink equipment handle the harsh conditions of rural Australia?

Starlink equipment is built to handle outdoor temperatures from -30 to +50 degrees Celsius. The router and power supply can handle indoor temperatures from 0 to +30 degrees Celsius. It’s designed to work in wet conditions, being hydrophobic and not prone to water. However, in heavy rain or strong winds, your connection might be affected, causing slower speeds or an occasional outage.

What is the Maritime coverage?

All international seas worldwide are accessible for use with Starlink. In motion for land and in local territorial seas, coverage is subject to government approval. In the Starlink Availability Map, all areas marked in black are regarded as ocean regions; this includes islands, unless they are marked as “Available,” “Waitlist,” or “Coming Soon.” When on the ocean, including these unnamed islands, only Mobile Priority Data may be used.

How different is LEO to GEO sat?

GEO (Geostationary Equatorial Orbit) Satellite, like the nbn® Sky Muster Satellite, is a special case of GSO where the satellite always appears stationary above the same point on earth’s surface. The added benefit is that antennas don’t have to turn to track the satellite’s position.

LEO (Low Earth Orbit) Satellite, like Starlink, is a network that typically consists of large constellations of satellites, with hundreds or even thousands of satellites working together to provide continuous coverage and seamless connectivity.

Discuss your connectivity needs

At Skymesh, we understand that high-speed broadband is crucial for seamless business communications, irrespective of business size or sector.

We are dedicated to providing reliable solutions to businesses operating in areas with limited traditional broadband services, ensuring high-speed and high-quality connections.

We achieve this by leveraging a range of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Geostationary Equatorial Orbit (GEO) satellite internet services, customizing solutions to meet specific business needs.

Collaborating with multiple networks, our tailored solutions are deployed across various industries in Australia.
